The Megger DCM320 Digital Clamp meter has both clamp meter and multimeter functions, measures AC current up to 400A, AC and DC voltage up to 600V, and resistance up to 20 Megaohms. The multimeter has clamp jaws for use in industrial and domestic electrical system installation. The unit has a 3-1/2 digit LCD with a hold function, which can be used to keep the reading on the screen when it is used in a location with limited visibility. The clamp jaw is capable of measuring the current in cables up to 27mm in diameter. AC and DC voltage and resistance are measured with the included red/black test leads. The unit also has a continuity buzzer that is on at less than 20 Ohms and off at greater than 50 Ohms. The DCM320 Digital Clamp meter is designed for use by electricians and contractors. The DCM320 is powered by two AAA batteries (with a battery life of 200 hours) and has an automatic cutoff function that turns the unit off after 10 minutes of idle time. The central range knob is suitable for ambidextrous operation. Separate voltage/resistance test leads can be disconnected when not in use. The unit is designed to withstand a 1.2m (4 foot) drop without damage and comes with a carrying case.
