Stopwatches / Timers / Clocks

Stopwatches, Timers, and Clocks are used for keeping and/or measuring time. In the past these types of units used mechanical technology like a mainspring to function. Today however, digital technology has taken over. This is a good thing, as digital time pieces are much more accurate and do not require periodically winding a mainspring.

Not all stopwatches, timers, and clocks are the same. Most stopwatches measure time up to 1/100 of a second, however some can measure up to 1/1000. Aditionally, certain stopwatches are NIST calibrated for dependable, pinpoint accuracy. A stopwatch from Extech also incorporates heat index measurement capability. Many timers and clocks also incorporate functions such as temperature and humidity measurement in addition to time keeping. Also, some stopwatches, timers, and clocks are waterproof/water resistant.
