Great tool, but for lower than 110v!

I bough this low voltage version because I thought I wanted one with a higher sensitivity. I was partially right. This model is too sensitive for picking out hot wires when others are present. It is however great to detect voltage from fixtures and switches without opening the unit. SO too sensitive to tell you which wire is hot, but sensitive enough to let you know power IS available from outside a fixture or box.

This is the low voltage model 20-90 VAC which I purchased to use as a safety check for skin voltage on my RV. Originally I was sent the higher voltage monitor, however, after an easy process, I obtained an RMA, returned the product and was sent the correct item.
