LAN

Definition: Local Area Network. A network that connects computers, servers, storage, mobile and other devices so that data / resources can be shared.

LCD

Definition: Liquid Crystal Display. Used in calculators, multitesters, televisions, interactive screens and other products.

LDO

Definition: Low Drop Out. A linear voltage regulator that can function despite the input voltage slightly exceeding the desired output voltage.

LED

Definition:Light Emitting Diode. A semiconductior that emits light. Visible or infrared.

LIN

Definition: Local Interconnect Network. A low-data rate, single wire communication system.

Linear

Definition: A faithful reproduction or straight line function.

Load

Definition: Something that is connected across the output of a circuit and which draws current from that circuit.

Loading Errors

Definition: Measurement errors that occur from an instrument that loads a circuit.

Definition: Electronic circuits that respond to a series of ones and zeros on the inputs.

Definition: Devices that have two or more inputs and a single output.
