Monitoring oxygen levels is crucial during the wine making process and is a key component to maximize wine quality. The YSI 5905-W and 5010-W wine bottle oxygen probes make it easy to get accurate measurements during bottling. Measuring oxygen ensures minimal oxygen introduction, reassuring the quality of the final product.
The 5905-W and 5010-W probes are designed specifically to fit directly into the neck of a wine bottle with a tapered 6-inch probe that sits on top of the bottle. The probe also has a self-powered stirrer attached to the submersible end to ensure good sample mixture and good flow of wine past the membrane within the small confines of the bottle.
