Gun is all right. Cheapened up, made in Mexico. Not as well made as my 50 year old Weller U.S.A.-made gun that is still going strong.

Heats up within two seconds. The light is great to have but does come loose every now and then. Would be nice if they upgrade to LED light. Real nice soldering gun.

Second Weller gun
This gun is an upgrade to an old Weller D-440. Higher wattage / heat range. The Allen screws may be an issue later but it works good for now. The older guns had a larger thru-hole nut for tip tension which hold up better according to reviews
