What is the difference between the WMRT and the WMRT-MS? They look identical.
The “MS” stands for mil-spec. These items are very similar, however, they are not the same. Also, they do not use the same tips. The WMRT uses the RTW series, whereas the WMRT-MS uses the RTW-MS series.

decent but not what i expected.

while having earlier purchased the wrmp iron handle which feels solid and can be easily be cleaned off with acetone due to its solid aluminum I was suprised to find that the wrmt was painted injection moulded plastic. in a odd twist you will find that there is a machined aluminum block inside the two injection moulded halves to mount the connector for the tweezers; as to why they didnt just go the entire way and have the whole handle machined from aluminum im not sure. The next thing that bothered me was how difficult it is to insert and remove the tips.To say the least it wasnt too impressive considering the premium pricetag but at least it heats up fairly quickly and so far i haven't burned out any tips, the cables are quite long and extremely flexible.
