Awesome Station & Pencil

This Weller Soldering Station is incredible. Once you use a tool like this you will never use the cheap iron ever again.
The temp control to the display are wonderful. The display is so easy on the eyes and viewable from any angle. Once again Weller has done a great job with both station and iron. The station itself is so nicely weighted. It will not move around if you move the attached iron.
As for my soldering use, the WTP90 soldering pencil iron has been wonderful. Love how it feels in the hand and gets the job done precisely and clean.
My solder joints have never looked so nice. Pencil tip heats up instantly and stays very consistent during use.
Not cheap, but as long as it continues to perform as it has so far, I look forward to a great soldering life.

I was skeptical about this unit a first, when I read some of the reviews of it. I figured for $500 dollars it had to be better than the reviews said. I was really glad I got it. I do electronic repairs and end up changing a lot more SMD components than I figured. It is a great machine, operates smoothly, has an on/off push button on the gun. If you need a rework unit, and have the funds, buy this one. I’ve had it for almost three months and I’m very happy with it.
