Following the joint venture between Tools divisions of Cooper industries and Danaher Corporation to create the Apex Tool Group in 2010, the former Cooper Tools GmbH took the opportunity to operate in future under its own brand name. "The renaming of the company as Weller Tools GmbH finally clears up any ambiguity there may have been concerning the branding and the people behind it", said the managing director.
