The Vision Engineering Smart CAM 50 is the latest camera for the award-winning Lynx EVO stereo microscope. Delivering high quality, high contrast images, rich color and an increased frame rate, the Smart CAM 50 replaces the popular Smart CAM 5. Compatible with new and existing Lynx EVO systems, the Smart CAM 50 will enhance new systems and can be fitted to existing Lynx EVO systems to improve their camera performance. 

Smart CAM 50 is compatible with all new and existing Lynx EVO systems. The camera module is best fitted between the Lynx EVO head and Lynx EVO zoom, and above a multiplier, if a multiplier is being used.

The Smart CAM 50 is supplied with the latest update of the VI Capture software. VICapture provides standard and supervisor operating modes allowing standard configurations to be established and recalled as required. VICapture features include:

• Still image capture using JPG, PNG and BMP formats
• Record subject movement with AVI video capture
• Mark up for easy and clear reporting
• Editable text and shape annotations
• Focus aid / Assurance of accurate focusing even on difficult subjects
• Overlay feature for easy checking of subjects against a master 

Smart CAM 50 is supplied with iDS Peak Cockpit software allowing users control of the image settings with additional imaging tools and annotation.
