Vaisala HMS82 Outdoor Humidity and Temperature Transmitter

The 2-wire HMS82 transmitter measures relative humidity and temperature in outdoor environments.

The HMS82 transmitter is optimized for outdoor use. It features an integrated solar radiation shield, which is a must for accurate humidity and temperature measurements in outdoor conditions. The transmitter is easy to install both on a pole and on the wall.

The excellent stability of the sensors and high quality materials guarantee that the HMS82 transmitter operates reliably and requires minimal maintenance. If needed, the Vaisala INTERCAP® sensor can be easily exchanged in the field with minimal downtime.

Optional output parameters dew point, wet bulb temperature and enthalpy can be easily selected with dip switches when the enclosure is open.

Analog outputs are preset at the factory to:

• Channel 1: 4 to 20 mA = 0 to 100% RH
• Channel 2: 4 to 20 mA = -40 to +60 °C (-40 to +140 °F) T
