The ENERGY STAR certified Thermo Scientific TSX Series ultra-low freezers are designed to meet the highest standards in reliability, sustainability and temperature management. At the heart of the TSX Series is V-drive technology, designed to adapt to user patterns, substantially reducing energy and HVAC costs without compromising performance. All TSX Series freezers are manufactured in a zero-waste facility and are built with natural refrigerants and water-blown foam insulation, compliant with the U.S. EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP), the European Union’s F-Gas compliance and other sustainability standards.
There is no need to worry about where your samples are stored within the freezer. With peak variation less than 5°C, your samples are protected and safely stored throughout the entire cabinet space. The TSX series is also quiet enough to reside directly in the laboratory, rather than in the hall. At just 45.5 dBA, its sound level is comparable to a home refrigerator.
Thermo Scientific DeviceLink comes embedded in your ULT freezer providing real-time monitoring of system status and sample temperature. You can access data anytime, anywhere-data and alarms from monitored lab equipment are securely stored on the Cloud and sent to the user via email and mobile-phone notifications.
There is no need to install sensors-the only plug-in is the equipment data port to read the parameters directly from the factory-installed sensors.
TSX freezers contains a newly re-designed touch-screen user interface. This provides access to many easy-to-use features: set-up wizard, event log, temperature mapping and data downloads via a built-in USB port. These systems are also ergonomically designed: comfortable door handle, eye-level touch-screen and shelf-level placement that does not require floor-level loading of racks.
TSX ultra low temperature freezers are available in four sizes, as well as with two voltages and a variety of options. Part numbers are all structured in the same manner so they can be easily decoded. In selecting a TSX model, the first thing to select is the size and voltage. TSX freezers can hold 400, 500, 600 or 700 two inch cryoboxes, and are available in either 115V/60Hz or 208-230V/60Hz.
There are also several options for this series which would be denoted by a suffix to the part numbers above. They are as follows:
Thermo Scientific TSX freezers are available with a variety of options including
Each of the freezers below have the capacity for 400 two inch cryoboxes. Their internal dimensions are 51.2"H x 23.1"W x 28.3"D. The voltage is indicated on the left in green. Additional options are shown in blue.
