The original hood we for our Balometer was a 2'x2' unit. We needed a 2'x4' hood to measure larger supply and return ducts. The new hood did not come with any instructions on how to use or assemble, but we figured this out. We left the hood assembled, the hardware does not seem to be sturdy enough to be taken apart and put back together. All in all, this is a good addition to the tool inventory. TEquiment delivered the parts fast, as they tend to do.
