For Ni-Mh Units, but not older NiCad units.

The 460 battery pack has an internal fuse bridging the two middle cells. If not present the scope won't work. This replacement battery pack has the fuse, and does work, however this battery pack is for for the later TPI460 scopes with Ni-Mh batteries.For the earlier TPI460 scopes that used the NiCad battery packs, this may not recharge properly. The wall plug is a different unit with different charging parameters. For the NiCad battery packs I had a battery shop make a custom battery using Sanyo Japan sub C cells, 2400ma with the original wiring harness. The fuse is a PTC resetable Littlefuse Inc. VTP210SF-ND (Digi-key part number)
