Starrett Square Combination Gage Block Sets (2mm Based) - Steel and Croblox
The Starrett Square Croblox and Steel Combination Gage Block Sets (2mm Based), 2mm Based sets are Metric sets that contain blocks that start close to 2mm in thickness. The sets are available in Metric, accuracy grade Webber A1 – Grade 0, and a variety of piece counts. Each set is supplied in a protective wooden case.
Precision gage blocks are the primary standards vital to dimensional quality control in the manufacture of parts. The four major characteristics that are necessary for a precision gage block are accuracy, surface finish, wear resistance and dimensional stability. Other factors are corrosion resistance, hardness, thermal conductivity and coefficient of expansion.
