The Southwire SCU6-AL is a MAXTERM™ 6-Ton Cutter w/ Cu/Al Blades. It includes a Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM™2.0AH battery that delivers 250+ crimps on 500 MCM per charge. The Cu/Al Jaws cut copper up to 750 MCM and aluminum up to 1000 MCM. The SCU6-AL crimps in the most confined spaces. It has interchangeable jaws for different crimping applications and brushless motor that delivers up to 4x longer life.

The SCU6-AL features a hydraulic system that is optimized for consistent performance from 0˚F to 122˚F and LED lights that illuminate work area.  It provides a full crimp indicator light for assurance of complete quality crimp. It includes weather protected electronics which keep dirt, dust, and moisture out. It has a fully balanced design for improved control and ergonomics.
