Programming options – P and PG (sold separately)
The programming “P” option includes LXI Class C Ethernet, USB, RS-232 and analog remote control.
The “PG” option includes GPIB programming plus all of the interface methods included in the “P” option described above.
These options can be added to your order from the accessories section of this page.
- Full bus interfacing permitting remote control and readback via either RS232, USB, LAN (LXI) or GPIB (IEEE-488)
- Simple command structures which make programming particularly easy regardless of which interface is used. The commands are consistent with other power supply families such as the XDL-P making inter-changeability straightforward.
- All power supply settings can be controlled via the bus. Voltage and current can be set to a resolution of 1mV and 0.01mA (10mV on 120V and 250V models). Actual voltage and current can be read back together with the power supply status.
- An IVI driver is supplied which provides support for common applications such as LabView, LabWindows, and Agilent VEE
- Single XEL-P models additionally offer remote analog control of output voltage and current which can be used independently or in parallel master-slave configurations. On 120V and 250V models the remote control inputs are galvanically isolated from the output.
Small footprint
At 4.2x11.3 inches (108mm x 287mm), the XEL series occupies the least bench top space of any programmable power supply. The dual output model offers 90W per channel, also in a compact 8.4x11.3 inches (216mm x 287mm).
