out of the box, was easy to setup and start to take measurements. The menu and touchscreen is easy to maneuver. I plugged in a keyboard that has a built-in USB hub, and i was able not only to detect the keyboard and type filenames, but it also detects the USB FLASH thumb drive every time i insert it to record a screen shot !

The Siglent SSA3021X Plus is a great spectrum analyzer. It's well-designed, fast, and easy to use. Honestly I waited two years to buy it because I couldn't really justify owning one, but then I finally gave in and bought it as a present to myself. I couldn't be happier! Highly recommended.

Great multifunctional analyzer with a lot of room to upgrade

I a ham radio operator and bought this unit because I liked how upgradeable this unit is. I'm used to my Rigol DSA-815TG and this analyzer runs circles around that old Rigol. I mainly was interested in having better dynamic range to have better visibility into below -120dBm for tuning notch filters. Well worth the money.

I waited for this item for 2 months (high demand). It was worth it. I have been an Amateur Radio Operator for 30 years and this technology was simply out of reach when I was first licensed. Ham Radio community I would recommend several license upgrades though you get to trial all of them during the first 100 hours of run time. VSWR Measurement License, Analog Modulation License and Digital Modulation License. There are several other licenses available as well but EMI and Advance Measurement licenses are more for production development and a using a calculator with the SSA will get you those data we need as Hams. Great Product!!!
