A dual channel digital bench oscilloscope, Siglent's SDS2202 is ideal for use in a wide variety of signal measurement applications and an ideal tool for use in any laboratory or similar application.

Part of the Siglent SDS2000 series, the SDS2202 features bandwidth of up to 200MHz and allows the user to track and measure two waveforms simultaneously across two separate channels. Signals are displayed as colour-coded waveforms on the SDS2202's built-in full colour large size LCD screen with waveform capturing rate up to 110000wfs/s and sampling rate of up to 2GSa/s.

Siglent's SDS2000 series is among the first to use Siglent's new SPO technology, improving the functionality and abilities of their digital oscilloscopes. This new functionality gives the SDS2202 superior waveform capturing rate, memory depth of up 28Mpts, support for 265 intensity grading and a hardware-based digital trigger system with lower trigger jitter and higher stability for more accurate measurements.

Great Scope Better Value

After spending several days comparing possible scopes for purchase we decided to go with this one. It offered significantly more features and bandwidth at a similar price-point with every thing I compared it to.
We have been using the scope for several months now and have been very happy with it. I am a pretty novice user, but I was able to quickly and easily find all of the functions I needed. The documentation was sufficient to help me understand some of the items I hadn't seen before on my lower-end scopes. If I had to say something negative about it, it would be that the provided probe is very basic and its documentation is a little lacking (i.e. the probe comes with several interchangeable tips, but I couldn't figure out how to properly switch them... but someone who knows what they are doing may already know), but I think that is probably true of any probe that comes for free.
Overall a great scope that I would definitely recommend to anyone in the market.

Siglent SDS2202

This is my first personal oscilloscope purchase, though I have been using them at work for years. Obviously it is hard to afford the kind of equipment we had at the national laboratories I've worked at, but I am happy with the SDS2202. TEquipment.net was very pleasant to deal with. I used the online chat because I had questions about shipping. At time of purchase, Siglent was offering free upgrades (bandwidth/options). I recommend getting as much as you can afford. I wish could have gotten the 4-channel version, but it was quite a bit more. Things like digital channel connections and the AWG are built-in so you can upgrade later, but a 2-channel scope will have two channels and a blank area. Screen quality is good and I feel build quality is good as well. Online, people have complained about the knobs. I don't think they are that bad or in danger of breaking off. I haven't played with it much yet, but this seems like a very nice oscilloscope for the price.
