Siglent SDS2102 Oscilloscope, Bandwidth 100MHz, 2 Channel

Siglent's SDS2102 is a digital oscilloscope that can measure inputs from 2 channels simultaneously and comes with bandwidth of up to 100MHz.

Part of the Siglent SDS2000 series, this oscilloscope uses Siglent's SPO (super phosphor oscilloscope) that delivers higher waveform capturing rate up to 110000wfs/s, memory depth of up to 28Mpts, support for 256 intensity grading and includes a hardware-based digital trigger system, lower trigger jitter and higher stability for more accurate results.

Waveforms are shown in real time with sampling rate of up to 2GSa/s on the SDS2102's built-in full colour screen. This assigns a specific colour to each individual input, ensuring that tracking each signal in real-time is as simple and easy as possible. Functions for adjusting horiztonal, run control, trigger, vertical and much more are included on the SDS2102's interface, ensuring users can adjust signals and get the readings they need every single time.

I submitted a review earlier. This is an update.
When using the fft function for audio analysis there is no spectrum resolution until you use the fundamental frequency of 100 KHz or more. Putting it simply the audio spectrum I crammed up against the left side of the trace. It's unreadable.
I passed this trouble on to tech support and he had the same result using the top-of-the-line sds2000 series scope. He passed it on to the factory and they agreed with him and I. An upgrade is in the offing and I was advised to review the firmware update on the website often and download and follow the manual directions.

PROs Great scope for the price. Largest display. Vector mode allows brilliant traces. Controls smartly spaced.
Cons A bit top heavy. Must hold unit with one hand when push upper controls. Manual needs to be more explanatory for newbie users, application notes from Siglent needed.
