Great oscilloscope.

The absolute best entry-mid level oscilloscope. The phosphorus thing really works, and gives you information about signal with no need to stop and trigger, helps get thing done faster.

Nice specs and looks good on the web site, but most of them not function correct and not working, it may needs a lot more attention to be an oscilloscope

Siglent SDS1202x oscilloscope performance

The reasons I rated five stars for the Siglent SDS1202X oscilloscope;

1) because they have a good and direct communication lines here in USA (real site and not just a web site)!
2) The unit boots fast and power up as a normal test equipment unit!
3) Basic functions and buttons appear to be OK!
4) Display looks OK and able to see clear!
5) Better upgrades for ultimate performance it may be possible in the near future!
Just needs little more tuning in the firmware!
e.g. Especially needs little more attention with video triggering glitches, holdoff options and choice of external trigger source at other modes than “edge” triggering! And etc…

After I RMA my first unit and exchanging feedback and information with the Siglent engineers, I realize that they may care about!
Also after my new SDS1202x replacement unit arrived, it appears that it may be capable of ultimate performance!
Just may needs little more fine tuning in the firmware!
And I decided to keep the unit, since wasn’t any huge amount of money to loose!
I hope that at the next few software upgrades and releases, Siglent may try to reevaluate all the specifications, as they advertise and maybe have the SDS1202x oscilloscope function
and perform 100% accurate with everything as it shows at the web site advertisements!
If they do that, then we may buy and try more equipment from them in the future and recommend them to other associates within the electronics and engineering communities!
Failure to do that will be a huge disappointment and may result not to accept any of their products even if is for free!
