Insulation Resistance and Continuity Tester
The IRT 1557 is a handheld insulation resistance and continuity tester. It performs measurements according to BS 7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and Part P. Its unique integrated safety probe puts the LCD and test probe in the user's line of sight whilst making measurements.
IRT 1557 is fully compliant with EN 61557 and IEC 61010-1 600v CAT lll. Automatic discharge of capactive circuits, it gives you automatic warning of the presence of hazardous voltages. It has an easy-to-use rotary setting switch. The IRT 1557 offers a number of unique features, including voltage measurements up to 1000AC or DC and a dual safety rating.
