SCS WS Aware Monitor with Standard Remotes
The WS Aware Workstation Monitor works with dual wrist straps that have a standard 3.0 mm audio mono plug. It verifies the proper wearing of a wrist strap by measuring an operator’s resistance. A charge can be easily developed on a body during movements. WS Aware Workstation Monitor detects body voltage and alarms if it exceeds the preset level. Alarm thresholds for body resistance and body voltage are set at the factory but can be changed in the field. Please contact SCS Representatives or authorized distributors for details. The WS Aware Workstation Monitor provides independent monitoring of four grounds – two tool grounds and two mat grounds. An option for four tool grounds is also available.

SC WS Aware Dual-Wire Monitor (Relay Out) Features and Attributes:
- Dual workstation continuous monitor - monitors path-to-ground integrity of two operators, two conductive or dissipative worksurfaces, and two metal tools; meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 in accordance with ESD TR1.0-01-01
- Relay terminal - Outputs 0/20 mA logic level for relay input
- Digital signal processing technology - Applies an ultra-low test voltage to the operator (0.05V) for the handling of sensitive components.
- Operator body voltage detection - alarms if the operator generates or contacts voltage that would be dangerous to an ESD susceptible item
- EMI monitoring - Alarms if the grounded metal tools have high-frequency noise that could cause electrical overstress (EOS) damage
