The ESD Foot Armor features contact points on the sole and heel area, generating lower charges than conventional heel straps due to its continuous path to the ground during walking. Its unique design requires no fastening system, with a flexible material that stretches over most shoes for quick and easy installation. Made from non-marking neoprene rubber without exposed carbon, it prevents shoe and floor damage, reducing maintenance costs. The replaceable 18-inch conductive 8-strand nylon polyester grounding tab with a 4mm snap ensures improved hygiene and reliable connection with the operator's sweat layer.

The foot armor generates less than 60 volts during walking, tested per ANSI/ESD STM97.2, and meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements for ESD footwear components in grounding systems. With a tab-to-cup resistance of 1 x 10⁶ to less than 1 x 10⁷ ohms at 100 volts, it also meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 limits as tested per ESD SP9.2 and ESD TR53 for suitable ESD footwear in personnel grounding systems.
