The R&S ZPH-K15 interference analysis and R&S ZPH-K16 signal strength mapping options are great tools for analyzing and locating ambiguous signals or interferers.
Signal strength mapping displays a pictorial view of the signal power level on an indoor or outdoor map. The color indicator provides a good estimation of the signal coverage in a particular area or where the interferer or intended signal is most likely located.
Equipped with option R&S ZPH-K16, you can make spectrum measurements and save the position of these measurements on the map. Using the triangulation method, you can determine the source of interference on the map.
To make full use of the functions available in map mode, you need a GPS receiver and an antenna (for example R&S HL300, this antenna already contains a GPS receiver).
To work with a small scale map like a floor plan, the "Indoor Mapping" provides the functionality to measure the signal strength indoors using an antenna (for example R&S HL300).
