Chisels are just great 'all arounder' tips, and this Pace Chisel is a goldilocks size for most SMD and through-hole applications. The temp stability is awesome with these tips, and while they're a little pricey, I think they're well worth the cost. This one in particular is my workhorse, and one I couldn't do without.

Good balance between tip size and thermal mass

The ultra performance tips with higher thermal mass are good for working on larger pads like TO-263s. The smaller tip means that I can work on boards that have such pads and also on finer scale parts without swapping tips as often.
