Good for drag-soldering

I think the idea of this tip is to load up the recess with solder and then drag it over the pins of an SMD component. I've found that it works pretty well for larger pin pitches, but it's a bit too ham-fisted for things like 0.5mm pitch. To avoid solder bridges, you probably need to go back to a standard chisel tip.

Good drag-soldering tip

I think the idea of this tip is that the cupped end can hold a small amount of solder, so that you can drag-solder SMD components. It seems to work well, although I don't think I'd try it on things like 0.5mm-pitch packages. It might be a little bit too ham-fisted. I think I'd go back to a small chisel tip for really tiny drag-soldering.

Amazing price, very fine chisel tip

Like the other 1130 and 1131 series Pace tips, it works perfectly with the ADS200's AccuDrive system to maintain temperature without calibration. The small 1/32" chisel is great for fine details of SMD pins. Of course, make sure you have fine solder to control flow (0.5mm or less).
