The OC White TKPZT series are trinocular microscopes with a 1080p digital camera. Part of the ProZoom 6.5 microscope family, this versatile system can be used through a wide range of working distances and magnifications. The TKPZT is also presented in a modular format, enabling users to customize the product for their specific application. Many different stands and illumination sources are available, which are quickly and easily changed.
The TKPZT includes a 1080p high definition digital camera. This attaches to the trinocular port of the microscope and makes research documentation as easy as possible. The camera comes with the OC White Image Acquisition and Measurement Software Suite, which is used for image capture, video capture, 13 different measurement functions, and much more. This package also includes a flat screen monitor, making it a great, all in one solution.
The TKPZT series has a zoom range of 1x to 6.5x, and is compatible with several styles of eyepiece and objective. Available eyepieces come in 10x, 15x, 20x and 30x magnification, with objectives ranging from 0.37x to 2x. This creates a high level of versatility, as users can create substantial changes in working distance and magnification by simply changing one part. Working distance refers to the amount of space between your specimen and the microscope’s objective – increases in this number indicate a larger amount of room for the user to operate. Depending on the configuration, the TKPZT has a working distance of 35 to 110mm, and an overall magnification from 3.7x to 390x. Please see the chart below for more information.
Several illumination sources are compatible with this system. OC White manufactures a variety of ring lights, with several sizes, color temperatures, as well as ultraviolet models. Multiple fiber optic sources are also available with many termination styles, including in an annular ring, and adjustable goosenecks. For users requiring different illumination sources, owning more than one light is not an issue, as they are very easy to change. The light sources are denoted in the part number by an A, D or LV2.
- A = FL3000-A fiber optic annular Halogen light source
- D = FL3000-D fiber optic dual point Halogen light source
- LV2 = LV2000 LED ring light
