These sensors are designed for use in general purpose applications up to approximately 20,000 µS/ppm, and provide outstanding chemical resistance. Open front end geometry resists clogging and reduces maintenance requirements to a minimum. Wetted materials of construction are CPVC or Teflon®*/Kynar®†, with 316 Stainless Steel electrodes as standard. The option to select other metals as electrode materials provides an unequalled chemical resistance capability. Dual O-ring seals of EPR increase sensor reliability and service life. The first O-ring absorbs the brunt of chemical attack, allowing the second O-ring to operate in a protected environment, and insure continued sealing. Sensor constants 0.1 and 1.0 are available. The ranges that can be achieved with these sensors are dependent on the model and range of instrument — up to 20,000 µS/ppm is the normal maximum range of use.
