Mitutoyo USB Multiplexers
The Mitutoyo USB Multiplexer is a device that connects multiple gages with SPC Output at an inspection station directly to a PC via a USB cable. The measurement gages connect to the Multiplexer with SPC cables, and the Multiplexer features switch on the inputs to select which gage sends measurement data to the computer.
Mitutoyo USB Multiplexers Series Overview:
- Ability to transfer data from gages to PC and into software such as Excel or MeasurLink
- Useful in multi-gage inspection stations and dedicated fixtures that use multiple Digimatic tools
- Reduces the number of connections required to the PC
- Supports keyboard Emulation (HID) or Virtual COM Port (VCP) and RS232 connections
- Multiplexer also supports Max, Min and TIR collection modes
- LED verifies data input and MAX, MIN & TIR data collection
- Trigger port - Used to trigger data or start and stop MAX, MIN, and TIR data collection with an external trigger, such as a footswitch or push button switch (sold separately)
- All MIG units include a USB cable, RS-232C cable, AC adapter, and USB flash drive with additional drivers (MIG-1USB does not include an RS-232C cable or AC adapter. Power is supplied by USB)
- Map ports to specified spreadsheet columns or rows for organized data collection
- Date and timestamp for spreadsheets
- Multiplexers can be connected together to form a system that supports up to 99 gages.
- Toggle switch - Used to trigger data or start and stop MAX, MIN, and TIR data collection (MIG-2USB, MIG-4USB)
