Mitutoyo LGH Linear Gages with Counter - High-Accuracy/Resolution Type
The Linear Gage LGH provides highly accurate and repeatable measurements in a compact design. The LGH series linear gage offers extremely accurate, ultra-high-resolution photoelectric reflective linear encoder (0.01μm models) or ultra-high-resolution laser interference (0.005μm models) which provides superior performance over its entire measuring range of 10mm. This linear gage series is most suitable for measuring high precision components, implementation into calibration machines and integration into high accuracy positioning applications.

Resolution 0.01µm/Accuracy 0.2µm models (542-715A, 542716A) - These models are equipped with a newly developed optical reflection-type linear encoder, achieving an excellent resolution of 0.01µm, a measuring accuracy of 0.2µm and a measuring range of 10mm at a low price. Maximum operating speed has been improved by a factor of 2.8 times (250mm/s → 700mm/s) while maintaining very high accuracy.
Resolution 0.005 µm/Accuracy 0.1 µm models (542-720A, 542-721A) - These models are equipped with a newly developed ultra-high precision transmission type linear encoder, achieving the outstanding resolution of 0.005µm (5nm). An exceptional measuring accuracy of 0.1µm has been attained over the wide measuring range of 10mm. This series is most suited for calibration/ evaluation of master gages where its wide measuring range is a great advantage.
