The Mitutoyo HH-300 Hardmatic Durometer is suitable for testing rubber, polyesters, PVC, leather, wax, vinyl, cellulose acetates, glass polystyrene, and a variety of other materials. The Mitutoyo Hardmatic digital and analog Durometer provides accurate, repeatable hardness test results on various soft materials from rubber and neoprene to leather and plastics. A data hold function (digital models) and peak retaining hand (on analog models) allows for error-free reading. Hardness measurement by durometer is simply performed by holding the instrument against the surface of a specimen and reading the indicated value.
