The BVX-100 is available with multiple filter configurations, as well as with and without an extraction arm. We have been using this for a while now and I'm not super impressed with it. We're looking to buy something else that perhaps has a larger suction, or dual pipe. The base seal is bad and clunky, meaning it doesn't fully engage and we have to prop something under the plastic to get it to seal against the square whole. Or is it supposed to have a gap there? No idea. I'd have expected 4 clips to fully clip the pipe module only the fan module. Ours came with 2. The pipe doesn't appear to create enough suction to capture air where you are soldering and where you put down your iron, so you have to select one or the other, and there are always some fumes when going to wipe after soldering. Bottom line is we still smell solder when using this at our solder station.

This is a very quite and well built unit. I have used this for several months and am very happy with unit. As I have looked at the filter I am amazed at how much this unit removes from soldering and desoldering. The flex hose took some getting used to, but is just normal now to use. I bought different attachments depending on my needs. This unit has strong suction does a great job removing smoke. Metcal and TEquipment tech support were great to work with. Thanks
