V-jaw Vice Clamp, 4 Jaws On Screw-Action Adjuster, QC-20 Fitting
432-678 is a vice fixture for mounting to the base of a test stand when performing tension and compression tests. It has four jaws, with two jaws being vertically spaced on either side. This provides increased stability by clamping at alternate heights on the sample container. Both sets of jaws are precisely adjusted equidistantly around the central axis by using a screw-action handle.
V-jaw Vice Clamps, QC fitting
Each with opposing V-shaped, serrated rubber-faced jaws. These secure grip samples are made of smooth or low-friction materials, such as plastics.
432-678 features 4 jaws which are adjusted using a knob to position them equidistantly around the central axis.
Axial alignment is achieved by lateral adjustment of the clamping component in the dovetail support, locked with a thumbwheel. Both versions feature a borehole for connection to a QC-20 fixing post.

Applications
Used for tensile testing of:
- Plastic container closures; pull-off, disassembly resistance
- Opening force of pull-up, sports style or flip-cap closures
- General product or packaging pull tests
