When using this tool to remove the larger 10mm cores, you cannot tighten the coupler too much or the o-ring will prevent the core from passing through. The design could have been a bit better to prevent this. Otherwise tool works well,

The valve core remover worked perfectly to remove the low pressure a/c valve core on my 2000 Ford Taurus. Be sure you get the right tool as there are several size valves. The Mastercool 58560 kit fit just right. It only took a couple of minutes to remove the old core and install a new one without venting refrigerant.

the tool works well to extract valve cores without evacuating the a/c system, but you must be careful not to break the very weak torsion pen, installed in core removal tool
