Temperature Data Logger with Probe Length and Style Options
The MadgeTech HiTemp140 is a submersible, high temperature data logger built for use in harsh environments. The device is extremely versatile and is available in various probe lengths and styles. It is also available with a key ring end cap. The key ring replaces the standard bottom and has a thru-hole diameter of 0.150-inch.
The HiTemp140 can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +140 °C (-40 °F to +284 °F) but is capable of measuring extended temperatures up to 260 °C (500 °F) (probe only; body of datalogger must not exceed 140 °C (284 °F)). With a storage capacity of up to 32,256 time and date stamped readings, the HiTemp140 can be programmed for immediate start or delayed start up to 18 months in advance.
The HiTemp140 is compatible with the latest MadgeTech software making starting, stopping, and downloading simple and easy. To use, place the HiTemp140 in the docking station. ** Please note, docking station is sold separately. ** Using the software, an immediate or delayed start can be chosen as well as the reading rate from 1 reading every second up to 1 reading every 24 hours. Start the data logger, remove it from the docking station and the device is ready to be deployed. Graphical, tabular, and summary data is provided for analysis and can be viewed in °C, °F, K or °R. The data can also be automatically exported to Excel for further calculations.
Battery Replacement Warning
The HiTemp140 battery is user replaceable. When replacing the battery, it is important to follow all safety precautions. The battery must be inserted with positive polarity pointing upward towards the probe. Failure to do so could result in product inoperability or potential explosion if exposed to high temperatures.
Note: This product is rated for use up to 140 °C (284 °F). The body of the datalogger cannot exceed 140 °C (284 °F).
