JPEG XS is an ultra-low latency, lightweight image coding system that compresses data volumes from 2:1 up to 15:1, providing visually loss-free image quality and reducing the cost of infrastructure equipment.

The Leader LV7600-SER33 software option enables stream analysis, encoding and decoding of SMPTE ST 2110-22 (JPEG XS), evaluation of JPEG XS compressed video signals, packet header analysis, packet error detection and comparative display of JPEG XS, SDP and ST2110-40. It is also possible to output SMPTE ST 2110-22 (JPEG XS) compressed video test signals, providing greater convenience to broadcasters and network operators.
