Option 305 enables cable and antenna analysis.
If I have the full 2-port VNA with time domain, why would I order Option 305? What additional functionality is available?
- CAT mode's basic measurements are similar to VNA measurements. The features listed below are often used for distance-to-fault cable testing and are only available in CAT mode:
- 3-peak marker tracking for finding faults for DTF measurements
- 1-port cable loss
- Cable type selection and editing, includes the cable's velocity factor and loss
