I narrowed my options to JBC's Compact Soldering Station and Pace's ADS200 with Set Back. I chose the JBC because it is indeed compact, the cartridge library is much larger than Pace's and the warranty, on registration, is three years according to the User Manual. That is three times long as the Pace warranty. Like Pace, JBC offers strong support in the U.S.
