The Hakko FR410 is a high power desoldering station with many unique features to make it user friendly and increase efficiency. This station uses the N61 nozzle, a new product, designed to tackle the latest challenges presented in modern electronics.
Delivering nearly three times more heating power than previous models, the FR410 is excellent for desoldering components on multi-layer circuit boards, including those with difficult to reach areas and narrow spaces.
Suction starts 2/10 of a second after the trigger is pulled on the desoldering handpiece - this allows for a buildup of vacuum, which is then applied to the solder joint for instant high power vacuum and complete desoldering. An improved heater core allows increased heating at the back end of the heating core, ensuring molten solder is sucked into the filter pipe. After releasing the trigger the pump continues to run for an extended period of time so that residual solder in the heater core is sucked all the way into the filter.
The FR410 has a large, easy to read LCD with temperature display, as well as a vacuum indicator that indicates both vacuum level and when it is time to change the filter.
Sunction with no clogging
This system uses the N61 nozzle, available in many different shapes and sizes. These newly designed nozzles make it possible to desolder in a variety of applications, with over 20 models to choose from.
Close-fitting nozzles on micro land patterns for reliable desoldering.
Use slim and long nozzles for difficult-to-reach components in narrow spaces.
Nozzles match the shape of land for thorough desoldering, eliminating residual solder.
I see there is more than one version of the Hakko FR-410. How are they different?

These both have the same FR-410 station, but include different style hand pieces. One is a gun style, and the other is a pencil style. • R410-52 • Gun style • R410-53 • Pencil style

Hakko FR410-52
I have been using it for year. Works perfectly and does not damage PCBs. Components mostly just fall out of the PCB after desoldering. Have not damaged a plated-through hole since investing in this tool. Great product. Highly recommended.

FR410
Does exactly what I expect, desoldering in a few seconds on multi-layer PCBs. Easy and fast to keep clean.
