These feel, look, and work perfectly. But Hakko needs to produce them in more colors. They have a HUGE selection of tips in this family, but only four colors of handles?!? I don't expect a separate color for every tip they make, but it would be nice to have (say) eight colors.

How about covering the resistor color code: Ten colors. Most folks won't have more than ten tips, and this would enable having a dedicated handle per tip. Just an idea!

These tip holders work well and feel fine. My only complaint is that they only come in four colors. There are far more tips in the family than four! I don't have anywhere near all of the tips yet I could easily use more holders, thus having one color per tip style.. I purchased all four colors, figuring I'd swap them between tips, but realistically that's not a good (nor convenient) idea. So I'm resigned to buying more of the same colors and just ignoring the colors.

Great holders, but please, Hakko, give us additional color options!

I have previously` purchased these twice from flea bay. The first flea bay `purchase was supposed to be a genuine Hakko product but it was a knock off and failed after 4 hours of use. Even though it had all the Hakko logo's and packaging. Then the second purchase was from a 3rd party vendor - needless to say history repeats itself. Yes, the real genuine Hakko product is more expensive but you are paying for Hakko quality. My grandfather always said the quality of your work is dependent on the quality of your tools. When I purchase Hakko products I know what I am buying that is superb quality from Hakko.

Nice upgrade from the 951

I purchased this mainly to use with the 2023-05 mini parallel remover. This is for removing SMD resistors, etc. This is made actually removing 0201 without damage much easier than I expected. The part almost disappears when you look for it not under the microscope.

It can only run one dual hand piece, but you can run two single hand pieces at the same time. I run dual FM2026 normal irons with different tips, or one FM2032-52 micro iron when I'm needing to work with very detail soldering.

I hate the at temperature beep, and this is configurable. I currently have mine setup to sleep in 2 minutes. So if the iron is in the holder longer than 2 minutes, it drop temp. This solves the wait for multiple quick joints. It also drops to off after a configurable time. I really like this. The station is on, but the display is ----. It beeps three times to let you know that it is on, but powered down, every 30 minutes.

We will be using one of these for production, and that gives me piece of mind in tip life if someone leaves an iron on over the weekend. Other than beeping and a slight power draw for the electronics, it is as if it is off.

I left on the beep at low temperature and tip faults, as these are not common occurrences and don't get annoying. I've found that you develop a rhythm for the iron and can feel when it would hit temp without the beep.

All in all, I'm really pleased with this station. Once we need two irons in production, I will replace that 951 with another 203.
