The new HAKKO N2 Nozzle Assemblies allow the FM-2032 micro soldering iron to be used with nitrogen without the need for any new tips or handpieces. The nozzle assembly fits over T30 tips like a sleeve and directs the flow of nitrogen around the tip and towards the solder at the end of the tip. The C5038, C5039, and C5040 nozzle assemblies offer the most accurate delivery of N2 to the end of the tip while the C5041 nozzle assembly is shorter to allow maximum compatibility with all T30 tips. The B5178 hose assembly connects the nozzle to nitrogen flow and includes cord holders to conveniently clip the tube to the soldering iron cord. All nozzles are compatible with B5178 hose assembly and are interchangeable via hose barb fitting. Purchase one hose assembly for each FM-2032 handpiece!

Now with the added feature of nitrogen, users can effectively preheat the component and board to help prevent thermal shock as well as allow users to operate the soldering iron at lower temperatures while achieving the same results. Nitrogen can also improve solderability, or the ability for melted solder to wet to pads or joints while also reducing oxidation build up on tips.
