Global Specialties has successfully combined performance and economy to provide compact, fully solid state single output power supplies which deliver DC power in its purest form. Global's new style and high performance have created a new standard in DC power supplies. The single output supplies offer continuously variable voltage and current outputs to suit a wide range of applications. Each in the series of supplies can be operated in constant voltage (CV) or constant current (CC) modes. Automatic overload protection is achieved by fast transition from CV to CC modes and may be set at any point in the voltage or current range. Separate front panel meters are provided to monitor output voltage and load current. Output voltage and current limit settings can be varied manually using front panel coarse and fine controls. Outputs are floating - neither the output, nor the negative terminal (nor any point within the regulator circuitry) is connected to ground. The supplies are designed to operate in an ambient temperature of 40 degrees C and the full output may be drawn continuously under full load provided free air circulation is allowed. Units are available in either 110-120VAC@60Hz or 220-240VAC@50Hz. The performance, price, and quality of these DC supplies make them indispensable tools for product development, testing, quality control, servicing and education.
