The 3 m. extension is very useful in accessing difficult to reach plumbing areas between floors in an 11 story high-rise.

Just received the DCS 400 w/3m. extension. This unit was purchased in order to quantify the extent of mold infestation between walls and also to help locate plumbing leaks in overhead copper water lines in an 11 story senior high-rise. The extension allows us to access hard to reach areas from the drop ceiling in the hallway, rather than having to "pothole" the ceilings inside the living units. The rigidity of the cable (obedience) allows us to fish the probe line into some very tight spaces.
