50:1 Ultra Wide Range Data Logging IR Thermometer
General Tools IRT855DL Datalogging IR Thermometer Ultra-Wide Range is a wide-range digital infrared thermometer with a 50:1 distance-to-spot ratio that automatically stores the last 100 readings for recall. General Tools IRT855DL is designed with adjustable emissivity, adjustable high and low temperature alarms, and has a large backlit 4-digit LCD display.
The IRT855DL measures surface temperature using either of 2 methods: non-contact (using an IR thermometer with a laser pointer) or contact (using a “K” type thermocouple). A “K” type bead thermocouple with a measurement range of -40° to 500°F is included in the package. During a single scanning session, the IRT855DL can simultaneously display real-time measurements on a primary readout and the maximum, minimum or average measurement (or the largest difference between measurements during that session) on a secondary readout. Its range and D: S ratio makes the IRT855DL suitable for use in fire Lighting/forensics as well as maintenance of power transmission/distribution transformers.
