The #EP8711P enables HVAC/R technicians to measure six heat-related parameters with a single instrument. The unit can make the in-duct measurements of an evaporator unit’s output needed to fine-tune a system for optimum efficiency. By calculating the enthalpy of the system, the EP8711P allows a technician to compare a system’s efficiency before and after charging with a refrigerant.

Great tool. I use it to supplement the use of a sling psychrometer. Using the enthalpy and wetbulb data saves a lot of time of having to look up the values on psychrometric charts.
