Great Product - But Different Test Probes Included

I bought this kit to be used with a recently purchased Fluke 87V multimeter. The quality is very high. The case will hold my 87V meter, 324 clamp meter, and a bunch of test leads, probes, and accessories.

My only complaint is that Tequipment advertises that a pair of TP220 SureGrip test probes are included in the kit. My kit came with TP175 TwistGuard test probes instead. The kit box lists the TP175 probes on it, so Tequipment needs to update their website.

Some people may prefer the TP175 probes because of their higher electrical ratings and the ease of extending or retracting the probe tip sleeves by twisting the center section of the probe. The TP220, however, is a solid probe (no twisting section) with a good rigid "feel". If you don't need the higher rating, you may prefer the TP220 probes.

Tequipment normally has accurate product descriptions, but apparently they didn't catch Fluke's change in the probes supplied in the kit.

Overall, however, the TLP289 is a great kit. It includes a variety of nice accessories that would cost significantly more if purchased separately.

This is not what I needed

After receiving this set, I realized it wasn't for the application I was going to use it on, they were gigantic. I understand I was the one that made the mistake, but Fluke and TEquipment don't give a better understanding of what your getting. What I needed was something for small electronic components and Automotive, like (category I , II). I sent this back for the TL81-A after a recommendation from a Fluke Tech, but after realizing it had in the description that it was rated (Category III), I knew I had probably made another mistake, wihich I did, but I kept that set just in case it came in need for my Automotive needs , as something's where rated (Category II, III and IV), but I didn't know what I needed until I read the reviews on the TLK287 on Amazon.com. This is the set that I needed.
Fluke had basically told me that the TL-81A and the TLK287 were similar and that if I already had the TL81-A to stick with that set, TEquipment in other words kinder came to that conclusion also. How is one to know what to buy if the professionals don't know what there doing. I assume there's a very high return rate. I have to give this a one star , as for the high cost of Fluke products you would think you'd get better support and I wouldn't recommend this set for what I needed (Category I) electronics.
The TLK287 really fit my needs, so if you need something for like computer component level electronics I recommend the TLK287, might even fit your needs for Automotive applications.
