Acoustic Camera Tester with Tripod
The FLIR T912406 acoustic camera tester is used to check the accuracy of the FLIR acoustic imaging cameras. The tester generates a sound signal that is recognized and evaluated by the camera. The dB-level of the signal can be used to ensure a correct level of readings, and also the condition of the microphone array. The acoustic camera tester contains samples of sounds compatible with the camera modes for demonstration that simulates different types of partial discharges, typical gas leaks and mechanical fault sounds. It is recommended to check the FLIR Si2-series acoustic cameras every six months with the acoustic tester, especially if the camera is dropped, has suffered a blow, or if it has gathered a significant amount of dust.
