This is my first thermal imaging camera. I do home inspections. This will prove to be a handy tool to discover leaks ans insulation deficiencies for my customers. It will be handy for service panel reviews as well. Very good camera for a reasonable price.

Could not be happier with my FLIR One for Android. I bought it to do inspections of insulation gaps in houses as well as air leakage locations. Works as well as a $5000 infrared camera I have used. My long wait to own an IR camera has finally ended with this $215 product. I use it with a Samsung Galaxy tablet. The image on my smart phone is a bit small.

I was blown away by the quality of this product...especially for the price! I had already tried the 'SEEK' product in this range, but found it's delivery so much more inferior to the FLIR one.

I carry out household energy audits as a living, and the use of this device has carried it to a whole different level. Instead of trying to explain the heat gain/loss weaknesses in people's homes, I can actually "show' it to them in real time.

This wee device is brilliant, and I recommend it highly!

I have been waiting for 3 years to purchase this product and I must say that it is worth the wait. It far exceeds my expectations. I purchased the android version to locate deficiencies in my homes insulation which it did without any difficulty plus I was able to locate a small water leak that I did not know I had. Every home owner should purchase one! You will save much more money than the price.

Wow - I'm really impressed. This little guy works great and connects/autoloads the app on my Note5 perfectly every time. Resolution and display is better than expected too. Everyone should have one of these - it's a great tool. My only annoyance is that the USB port direction is fixed so I can't connect it to my Nexus7 without it pointing the wrong way. Once USB-C comes out that will be a thing of the past, but in the mean time a reversing adapter would have been really nice.

FLIR ONE for Android is a HOME RUN!

I recently purchased the FLIR ONE for Android. The main purpose was to be able to find bad devices in circuit boards where short circuits exist and heat is generated. Being able to use a thermal image rather than your finger to is much safer and more accurate (you don't waste time). The camera gives excellent image location to pin point heat sources, and it even has a feature where it will tell you the temperature within a few degrees of the actual temp. The ease of use and price make this a must have.

I was not sure when I bought this if it would work good or not, but this thing is awesome and has paid for itself already. Just download app, plug it in and turn it on. I have walked around house and found leaks in AC, walls, ceiling and outlets. I have been fixing areas as I find them and have already been able to tell a difference inside. I know there are better units,but for the price and what it will show you it can easily be free with reduction in electric bill in a few months not even a year. I am not a professional home inspector but it will make you feel like one. Again I love this item and have already told my friends about it.

Good performance for the price

This unit is basic and performs well for its $249 price. However, it will not fit the phone if you have anything but a very thin case on the phone. It will not fit with an Otter or Pelican case.

Also, on my Samsung S5 Active, the port cover folds back and is an obstacle for the FlirOne to mount properly.

I knew in advance these would be issues. So I purchased a RetiCam smartphone handle for $49, mounted the FlirOne to the front with heavy duty self-adhesive velcro, and connect it to my S5 Active with a 12" micro USB cable. Now I have a hand-held unit for under $340 including the extras.
