Extech’s Weather Station helps you plan your day-to-day outdoor activities that may be affected by weather conditions including businesses involved with construction, agriculture, and recreation. The WTH600-KIT includes an indoor Wireless Base Station with a large LCD displaying indoor Temperature, Humidity, and outdoor weather conditions, plus date and time. It also comes with an outdoor Wireless Transmitter with 5 built-in sensors, including a self-emptying rain collector for measuring rainfall, wind cups for wind speed, wind vane for wind direction, and temperature and humidity sensors. It sends data by a low power radio frequency to the Base Sation up to 450ft (150m) away. The kit comes assembled for easy installation.

Pleasantly surprised ?!

Had been looking for a replacement for an older ( Accu-R ). But to get the bells and whistles I originally had, prices were getting close to the 300 range. Then happened on a Extech advertisement. Didn't know they made one. Wow, have set unit up after receiving. Simple monochrome/ screen. Not all the flashy colors. Just info... So far works like a dream, at half the price. Also like that the inside unit can be put anywhere. Battery operated No wires. Used Command mounting tab and installed near my outside door. So no surprises when taking the pets out. Summer heat or Wind chill freezing. Definatly recommend without busting the budget. 12/11/2020 - R.E.A.

EXTECH WTH600-KIT WIRELESS WEATHER STATION
An excellent home weather station. Love that it is wireless. The information provided by it has been spot on. I attached it to a galvanized four foot pole attached to my shed. My only issue was that it did not keep correct time relative to my location. Setting the time itself is tricky. I had to turn off the DST and connection to the world time clock which is done automatically. Once I disengaged these two items it keeps time flawlessly. Connecting the mounting bracket to a round pole is as tight as it will allow me to do it which is tight tight. I was afraid a strong wind might rotate it on the pole but that has not happened. Overall I highly recommend this item, very pleased with it.
